interests and aptitudes as well as your work environment
preferences.
These provide a fairly
accurate analysis of your behaviours and attitudes - how to
focus on your strengths and how you
will interact with coworkers, customers and direct reports.

How the Process Works: |

We will meet three times
per month for a 45-minute career coaching session
over a 90-day period. Meetings will
either be face-to-face, online or by telephone.
|
|
|
- We will conduct some type of
assessments: what can you do (your abilities), what
you enjoy doing (your interests) what's
important to you and what you would want out of your
career (your values), as well as your work
environment preferences. These
assessments are not tests, so there's no need to worry.
|
|
|
|
|
|
We will cover self-marketing
strategies: |
|
|
- the job search process - conduct
targetted searches
- accessing the hidden job market
- professional resume and cover
letter development
- salary and benefit negotiations
- informational interviewing &
research
- follow-up
As with any type of
coaching, it takes time for you to reach your goal.
Therefore, your results will depend on personal need and the
number of sessions you contract for you. Bear in mind that
if you are changing careers, you cannot reasonably expect to
do so after one or two sessions. Ideally, a 90-day
(3 months) commitment
is usually required for you to
really reap the benefits from our meetings, but the decision
will be left up to you. We
guarantee, if you commit to the process and follow the
action plan, you will be more confident, better equipped
to face the challenges that come with job searching, or with
a career change and you'll be successful. |
